The owner, Jenna Little has been a paralegal practitioner since graduating from Humber College in 2004 with a diploma in Court & Tribunal Agents. She was proudly grandfathered into the Law Society of Ontario in 2008, and then completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University. She then went on to obtain an MBA in Innovation Leadership from the University of Fredericton in 2018, and that same year, completed the Osgoode Certificate in Provincial Offences Court Practice.
While working through her career and academic paths, Jenna spent many years volunteering as a director of the St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto and chair of the St. Andrew’s Foundation of Toronto, a generous local non-profit that assists those in needs and celebrates their Scottish heritage. Giving back to the community has always been Jenna’s passion, and her personal motto is “if you can help, do”.
Jenna is passionate about arguing Charter applications, crafting appeals, legal research and writing, and making novel arguments. She is the Chief Paralegal of The Democracy Fund, a non-profit legal clinic and charity that is devoted to strengthening democracy by defending civil liberties, promoting independent journalism, and helping the world’s vulnerable. There, she spearheads the Fight the Fines campaign in Ontario, providing pro bono legal services to over two thousand people and small businesses in need. She was the first paralegal to specialize in COVID-related offences in Ontario and has taught courses to other legal professionals wishing to understand the complexities of the new legal landscape.
