Who has access to your information?

• None of your information is shared with anyone outside of the club
  • unless you’ve explicitly requested that we do — like when you ask us to embroider your first name onto a club jacket, our jacket supplier would obviously get your first name, and your favourite colour, but nothing else.
• Club executives can access your information, but general club members cannot.
  • if you sign up for a tour, the organizer for that tour will receive your contact information in order to ensure smooth touring operations. We continue to tighten the amount of information necessary to succesfully run tours — often by automating the mitigations of unusual scenarios like last-minute event-change notifications.
  • most tours are run by general club members. in these cases, you information will be shared with that general club member.
  • signing up for events run by external parties, which are clearly indicated within the event details, may or may not share some of your information with that outside organizer. In such cases, the event details will also indicate the club member acting as the go-between. You may contact this liaison for details about what will or will not be shared.
  • in the course of general operations, should odd exceptions arise, club executive members are able to act at their own discretion to share relevant data, piece-meal, in order to handle emergencies and smooth club operations — including trivial things like “I found Joe’s lost watch. What’s his phone number?”.
  • as a noted exception, your city, province, and country will be shared with general members, along with your full name, in the form of attendance lists for individual events. these attendance lists are not shown publicly (i.e. to non-members).
  • as another exception, if you choose to become a tour organizer, your name, telephone, and e-mail address will be revealed to general members, as a part of your event.
  • should you choose to provide a credit card number for purchases on this site, it will obviously be shared with our e-commerce payment gateway and relevant banking institutions. However, this site will only retain it for the few seconds during processing. Beyond that, only first-four-last-four digits of your credit card will be kept for receipt-display purposes.
• Club executives are humans, and are able to make exceptions to just about anything. please feel free to contact the club if you wish to have your information scrubbed, changed, or otherwise queried in a weird way.
• Your co-pilot, or any other co-members that you define, will be able to see most of your information.
