Tour Highlights:
-
Exploring the Wilds of Scarborough: Our journey begins with an exploration of the Twyn Rivers area of the Rouge National Urban Park, immersing ourselves in the untamed beauty of Scarborough. Prepare for an unforgettable drive as we traverse the single-lane Bailey Bridge and Toronto’s only vehicular suspension bridge.
-
Charming Villages and Scenic Roads: As we venture east into Durham Region, we’ll pass through the quaint hamlet of Whitevale and indulge in some thrilling twists and turns on the roads leading to Lakeridge. Keep your eyes peeled for familiar sights from the beloved Schitt’s Creek TV series in the village of Goodwood.
-
Culinary Delights at Rose Family Farm: Our lunch stop awaits at the picturesque Rose Family Farm (www.rosefamilyfarm.ca), where you’ll find a washroom, farm store, and chip truck serving up the freshest French fries made from their own potatoes. If you prefer bring your own lunch. Explore the farm store’s offerings of seasonal produce, strawberries, corn, potatoes, squash, pumpkins, and baked goods. Enjoy a leisurely picnic under the shade of a giant oak tree (don’t forget your folding chair!).
-
Twists and Turns of Herald Road: After lunch, our journey continues westward along Herald Road, where we’ll navigate through twists, ups, and downs, soaking in every moment of the exhilarating drive.
-
Final Destination in Markham: We’ll conclude our adventure around 2:00 PM at Cathedral Town in the village of Victoria Square in Markham, wrapping up an unforgettable day of exploration and camaraderie.
Prepare for a day filled with scenic vistas, delicious treats, and the joy of open-road cruising. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable adventure with fellow enthusiasts!
