THE ESCARPMENT TOUR, TUESDAY JUNE 13, 2023

Southern Ontario isn’t known for its challenging terrain but we do have Hamilton’s “mountain” and the Niagara escarpment. If you like some curves ( and even a couple of switchbacks ) in your roads and elevation changes that are more than climbing an overpass, join me on this tour that runs along the escarpment , going up and down several times, stopping at a great restaurant in Fonthill. After as long a break as is dictated by the most hungry participant, we’ll head back on somewhat more flat and straight roads.
This is a low tech tour where CB radios are optional ( but welcome ) and having the route isn’t necessary ( but available on the Scenic app ).
There is only one critical rule to follow ; Don’t make any turn until you see the Miata behind you signal that turn.
This tour is being run once a month through the season so if you find it full on your selected date, please look at future ones where it’s likely that there are still openings.
Duration ; About 1 1/2 hours to the lunch spot

The Trillium Miata/MX5 Club highly recommend that register members on tours to have a GPS and CB Radio although it is not mandatory
