Gather at 5:45 PM sharp in the enchanting Clarington area as we embark on an adventure to witness the annual migration of trout to their spawning grounds. Our journey promises excitement as we navigate the captivating roads tracing the Ontario lakeshore. Our first stop awaits at the Ganaraska River fish ladder, where we’ll eagerly anticipate the sight of these magnificent fish leaping upstream during their vibrant spring run. (Rest assured, portable washroom facilities have been provided at this location in past seasons; however, should they be unavailable, we’ll ensure an alternative bio-break location is arranged during our cruise.) Join us for an evening filled with nature’s wonders and memorable experiences.

Continuing our journey, we’ll trace a scenic loop along a northerly route, navigating a blend of leisurely and spirited backroads. Covering approximately 90 kilometers, our drive will unfold just after sunset, promising enchanting views along the way. As we wind back towards our starting point, anticipation builds for a delightful finale where ice cream and other treats await. All are invited to gather, socialize, and indulge in tasty delights. Expect the festivities to extend until around 9-9:30 PM, allowing ample time to savor treats and engage in friendly conversation.

For an enhanced experience, we strongly recommend equipping CB radios, as Michelle and Steven will highlight unique sights during the journey. While the route may be shared via the Scenic app approximately a week before the tour, our adventure will primarily unfold as a listen-and-follow-the-leader tour, allowing everyone to immerse themselves fully in the breathtaking scenery.
